101 Brickfilms CLOSED INDEFINITELY

Hello 101 Brickfilms viewers.

The 101 Brickfilms project is a huge one, and I know it, and you know it, so you can't expect me to do this all easily and without stutters.

Many of you may have noticed that our long-awaited Long Films season didn't happen. This is mainly due to my leaving the articles for the films to the last minute (so if any of you voted at the last minute for a film I hadn't heard of, I would know). Normally I'd work into the night for you devoted fans, but I had a huge problem. Brickfilms.com had shut down and the BiM film directory was - and still isn't - up and running. So I had nowhere to go to find all the data about the films.

The 101 Brickfilms project is still running. Though I'm not as obsessed with it as I once was, I will never close down this site (the graphic I made are too good). So what I'm going to do is ask for your help: I am in desperate need of people to help me run the blog. That means seasons, validating nominees, Brickfilmer rankings, and hopefully some Brickfilming competitions. So please, if you feel like getting this site going again, contact me at John@brickspace.org .

Once again, I apologise for pretty much abandoning this project. It's just that things took off with Brickspace and I got interested in MOCs, and the Dane Cook bandwagon began... so the Brickfilming world wasn't so interesting for me. Therefore this site is 'closed' indefinitely, until I can sort out another date for the Long Films season, and either BF.com or BiM get their archives up-and-running.

Sorry once again all you lot,

~John

ps. I have taken the advert for this site off Brickspace.org, so no-one gets led here only to find it in its closed status.

Brickfilmer Rankings

Hi there!
Now, to extend the range of content on 101 Brickfilms until the Long Films Season in February where our list will start being populated with films, we are introducing Brickfilmer Rankings!

Yes, in a month or so we will release our first list of official 101 Brickfilms best Brickfilmers: a list that will be chosen by you, and, at any time possible, will be updated with your new votes, and we will send a banner, like the one below, to a) all the Brickfilmers in the top 20, and b) any other Brickfilmer on the list who would like to have theirs. It can be placed anywhere they like: I hope this will help us to class Brickfilmers into different categories and ranks. Please fill in the form below and get the list going, and remember: you can fill it in as many times as you want!!
